# Create an Invite with QR Code for an Event

LobbyFix lets you create QR code Invites from the **Invites** section, either from the web or the mobile app.

### ✅ Steps to create an Invite from “Invites”

1. Go to the **Invites** section.
2. Complete the event details: date, time, and location.
3. Add the name and email or WhatsApp of your guests (optional), or save the Invite and share the link.

### 📩 How guests receive their QR code

* Guests will receive their QR code through the method you selected (email or WhatsApp).
* QR codes can be used for both check-in and check-out.
* They remain valid for the duration of the event, with a **1-hour tolerance before and after**.

### ⚙️ Note on sending Invites

If you disable the **“Send invites”** option when creating the Invite, QR codes will still be generated but not sent.
You can download them and share with your guests manually.
